Yoga

Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for Increasing Flexibility, strength and helps improve balance. Our YOGA classes offer a full spectrum of variety types/style of YOGA from Vinyasa, Lotus, Restorative and Power Yoga. Our instructor teaches for ALL from Beginners, Intermediate and Advance.

MFZ

MFZ (My Fitness Zone) will get your heart pumping, literally. This high-tech heart rate monitored class will ensure you get the ultimate workout during class and keep your metabolism elevated after the workout finishes. This team environment is both empowering and motivating while still challenging your personal best with individual results tracking and instantaneous feedback.

BODYPUMP™

The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

Bootcamp

The name says it all. Prepare for a heart pumping, blood circulating workout to kick off your weekend. MUV Fitness Portland supports fitness for all, whether a member or not. As a result, all members of the community are invited to join us every Saturday at 10:00 am for a fun and challenging hour.

Zumba Fitness

Zumba fitness, Latin inspired, calorie burning dance class. This class is fun and easy to follow. Class offers a variety of music and dance choreograph from Salsa, Samba, Bollywood, Belly dance, and more.

Spin/Cycling

Spin class is an excellent class to improve your cardiovascular endurance. Cycling will enable your heart and lungs to function more efficiently and will help improve muscular strength and endurance. Spin class is a stationery cycling in a group setting with FUN motivating music lead by an instructor. The class runs 60 minutes long, includes a warm, cool down and stretch.

Powerfit

Powerfit class is resistance training, using barbells, hand weights, physio balls etc. Powerfit class is designed to promote muscular strength and endurance, both are develop by using the overload principle which is increasing resistance and or frequency and duration of the activity. The intensity of this training can be manipulated by varying the weight, rest and the sets of the exercise. Participants are encourage to come early for set up.

Step and Strength

Step class is an aerobics class using a platform. The classes are designed by the instructors with fun top 40 music and choreograph movements to the beat. Step class is a cardiovascular class, moderate to high intensity. The strength portion of the class includes weight lifting using hand weights or body bars.

Dance Hi-lo Impact

This class is a floor aerobics, and will help improve your cardiovascular endurance. The class consists with Low Impact to High Impact movements choreographed to each music chosen by the instructor.

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a fun high energy and high intensity class, a faster pace class and a great class to improve your cardiovascular endurance. The class is develop from kickboxing, tae Kwando and karate. This class is a mix of Boxing and Kicking combinations to a fun strong beat of music.

Mat Pilates

Pilates exercise focuses on proper alignment and appropriate muscle recruitment to build stronger CORE. Although a major focus is on the Abdominals and Back, the entire body will get a workout. Pilates will help you improve core strength and better balance and posture it also promotes flexibility and agility. POP PILATES class is designed and choreographs to the beat of the music, movements are tempo driven. This class is focuses on ABS and Back.

20/20/20

Total Body Class

Total Body class composes of 20-20-20 starts with a 20 minute of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training and ends with 20 minutes of core/abs and stretch/flexibility segment.

HIIT

HIIT training class is a training technique which involves intense burst of high intensity exercise fallowed by a variety periods of low intensity active rest, or complete rest. Class is combined with cardio and strength training exercises. All are welcome.
